A self-taught artist fascinated by portraits and figures, Meggi lives and paints in a pink house on a tropical island.
Meggi was born in Germany where she studied childhood development and psychology. Working with traumatized children led her to art therapy and a deeper connection with the emotional components of art.
Her pieces depict strength and vulnerability. She looks behind the layers to capture glimpses of intimacy.
